Help with sizing please

My youngest has just turned 1 she has some 12-18 months clothes they are a little long in the arms or legs but seem to be a little on the smaller size round the tummy and bum area they’re not tight but just look like they just fit. I need to start buying autumn/winter clothes and I’m unsure what size to buy 12-18 months or 18-24 months. I know some stores have different sizing but I don’t want to end up getting something she won’t get much wear out of or something that’s way to big. Anyone have any advice please ?

I’d say baby and toddler sizing is either true to size or a bit big. My dd was in 9-12 months but I also bought a few 12-18 months at just turned 1 year old. In your dd’s case I’d size up so it’s not tight on her. It’s better for clothes to be baggier. You could get 12-18 months leggings and 18-24 months tops.
