Help…What is the best wifi printer for printing anywhere in house? I was thinking Epson Or Hp? The connectivity needs to be reliable.

Reliable, fast, suitable for work and home, colour printing over bluetooth, works with apple devices (mobiles and laptop), ink not too expensive

Excluding Cannon.

HP doing well for me. Connectivity is great (printing upstairs from where I'm usually sending). It's fast and I can use it from laptop or android phone without fuss.
I buy HP refilled cartridges which are much more economical than the HP new ones.

Brother laserjet. 100% reliable and easy to use. Even for my elderly mum.

I bought an Epson eco tank. It was a really expensive printer, but I needed good quality. I have had it over three years and never had to replace the ink! It has paid for itself in ink savings

My HP is CONSTANTLY losing the WiFi connection, I bloody hate it. I try to print from my phone and I get "this printer is not available right now" or the scanner doesn't work from the Smart app when all the printer displays say it's fine. Its a 2800. Don't buy it!

All wifi printers are shit, I speak from bitter experience! Especially if you want to use Apple’s air print function on multiple devices, iOS updates so frequently and the printers don’t keep up. Don’t do it to yourself!

Im starting to realise connectivity is an issue around the house and with apple. There must be one printer under 200 pounds which works. Apple products are no longer compatible with wiring for most printers. It seems air print/ bluetooth/ wifi is the way forward. But air print doesnt seem to work with most new printers?

For a reliable Wi-Fi 192.168.1.1 printer, the HP OfficeJet Pro 9015 offers fast printing, seamless Apple device compatibility, and affordable ink options. The Epson EcoTank ET-2720 is great for affordable ink and reliable performance with AirPrint support. Both are excellent choices for home and work use.

Maybe it's your device that is the issue, and not the printer.

Loads of new printers will connect via airprint. I'll come back to this thread with some suggestions.

@Mummy3451 How much printing do you do? The newer ink tank printers use bottles of ink to refill the cartidges and work out cheaper in the long run for high volume printing. If it is just occasional printing then most inkjet printers will fit the bill.
Do you want mono or colour?
Do you want to just print, or scan and copy as well?
What operating system does it need to be compatible with?
What other devices do you want to connect to the printer?
Do you want to print photos?Do
Do you want automatic duplex printing (2 sided)

i bought an HP Envy 5640 because it was 1/2 price in Sainsburys a few years ago. Hands down the best printer I have ever owned!

it prints it scans snd i have it on a subscription - it hardly EVER runs out of ink and costs less than £5 a month usually. It’s like magic!

According to Which? the best home inkjet printers between £200 and £300 are:

Canon Pixma G550
Epson ET-M1120
Epson WorkForce Pro WF-M4119DW
