Best reusable shopping bag

Possibly the dullest thread ever, apologies! I like those reusable shopping bags that pack down into a pouch that I can keep in my handbag. I keep buying cheap ones from the supermarket etc and find the quality pretty bag. The handles always fray before too long and they eventually develop too many holes
So I think I might splash out on a couple of decent ones that will actually last - does anyone have any recommendations?

Honestly, the Co-op ones are the best I have found. They fold really flat but are big and strong. I keep a couple in my bag. My oldest one is about 5 years old and it's a bit crumpled but no signs of any actual wear. They're a couple of pounds and I don't use any other ones now.

I have one from a brand called Kind Bag. It was a birthday present, and I will say I was a bit dubious when I opened it (not outwardly I hope!) but honestly it's one of the most useful things I own. It's lasted for at least a couple of years and I just put it through the wash every now and then and it comes out looking as good as new. It folds up into a little pouch.

The w supermarket ones are terrible and I suspect microplastics. I am using cotton tote bags folded up. They go fairly small and seem less toxic. The best one I have was a bit of merch at the stage show of the lion king.

@MsSampson They look just the thing! I've ordered a couple - thank you!
@GiantTeddyIsTired I also have a packable Ikea backpack that's lasted years. They're brilliant aren't they? I love mine for holidays etc but it's too bulky for every day use

I find cotton tote bags the best, I have a few from advertisers (Colgate, local council etc), and have had them for a good 15-20 years but you can get them plain from Amazon, dd has tie dyed some in the past.

I got sent a vinted order in a strong waitrose bag. It's great, every so slightly padded, handles right length, big. So whoever sold me my trainers, cheers. I also picked up a massive one on Carrefour a few weeks ago. Dh and ds like it because it's Pokemon.themed.
