Hi,

Can anyone recommend nappy pants for night time that don't leak for a 3 year old?.
Currently using huggies night time size 6,(don't think they do any bigger?).

Thanks.

We used Naty. I believe they do a Size 7 but our son potty trained in Size 6.

If they’re leaking is there any chance that they’re actually too big? From memory size 6s are up to 18kg which is about the typical weight for a 5YO. My eldest who is average sized wasn’t dry at night until pretty much bang on their 4th birthday and we still never went bigger than size 5. I would personally rate the pampers nappy pants over the huggies pull ups but a lot comes down to how they fit your DC’s individual body shape so what works for one may not work for another- they come in size 5 and 6. So it may a case lf buying some small packs and doing trial and error. If you really do want larger, like a size 7, which doesn’t sound right for a 3YO but IDK maybe he’s top percentiles, then I’d look at the Huggies Pyjama Pants in age 4-7. Also is he potty trained? If he is then make sure you get him to wee before his bath, then again afterwards to check and I wouldn’t offer any drinks after dinner- making sure he’s going to bed with an empty bladder should help a bit until he becomes dry at night.

I’ve used multiple different brands and never had one leak. My 2.5 year old is in size 6, could you need bigger? They go up to at least a size 8.

Might just need a better fitting brand, I reckon boys need bigger sizes given obvious reasons.

My 18 months old boy has been in Morrisons 6+ for at least 6 months and he's 50-75th centile, and in size 8 pampers nappies for night time (he sleeps through 6:30pm-7am so needs the extra capacity), but he is way below the weight rating for both.

Conversely my 50-75th 4.5y girl who still isn't night dry has only just gone to size 9 pampers nappy pants after spending 2+ years in size 8s.
