IKEA are an absolute disgrace

Had an IKEA delivery scheduled for Friday. Took the afternoon off to be in. 7pm my mobile goes. Delivery driver says he outside. Go outside no one there. Look on the tracking map and he is 30 miles away at the depot. Driver denies this and rings off. Ring IKEA and after 30 mins in the queue get through to someone. 2 mins in line goes dead. Ring again sat morning. Long wait but delivery scheduled for Sunday. Stay in all day. Nothing arrived. Just had message it's apparently coming tomorrow. I'm at work. I paid £25 for delivery. It's an absolute shambles. If you look at their feedback online it's something like 1.5. Totally ruined my weekend. Avoid at all costs.

That’s rubbish - what awful service - non existent really. . Have they offered you a full refund on the delivery and money off vouchers? This needs to be done and an apology. Check it all through when it arrives no matter how long it takes you to be sure every box has arrived - in case there are a lot of boxes.

They have a system where you cannot e mail them. Just a bot or a long wait in a phone queue. I've asked for delivery refund. But not hopeful

Not my experience at all. Delivery came on time, didn't open until a few days had passed. Part of an item was damaged. Because more than a week had passed since delivery (8 days) instead of arranging a replacement/refund through their app I had to ring them. Settled down expecting a long wait on the phone followed by a fight to arrange a solution...hung up 8 mins later, having spoken to a lovely chap who arranged a free of charge replacement which arrived less than 24 hours later and not only told me to keep the damaged item but gave me advice on how to salvage it.

Sorry you had such a bad experience :-(
