My Mother is going to purchase one in the UK for my son and bring it out for my sons birthday. Therefore I need to be specific about what she needs to get and where to get it from.As she thinks all tech games are another language.

( I already have a North American adapter) but as we are returning to the Uk end of the summer it is better if he has a Bbritish one.
Finally are there any other bits that would be needed for him to play and what games to start him off. He is 10. ( My son has mentioned that game boy games can be used in the ninetendo ds is this correct?

GB games can be played on the DS. The image appears on the top screen only and they are played by using the controls on the DS, not the pencil.

Games depends on what types of things he is into.

or you could be naughty and get one fof the R4/M3 cards with mcro SD and have copied games - not that it is legal to do obviously,

Thanks for the response he likes, Indiana Jones,Star wars and Pokemon so I guess I'll just go with those unless anyone mentions not to.
