Maxi cosi carseat in 2004 Mondeo and 2008 Volvo S40

Hello, can anyone out there tell me if maxi-cosi car seats fit in Mondeos (2004) and new Volvo S40? Will of course go and get it tested but would like to know now if poss if anyone has experience of them fitting in these cars, as if anyone knows they don't fit then i can forget about them now. Thanks

We've had Maxi Cosi seats in our 2003 Mondeo Estate - I remember John Lewis ringing up to make sure they were compatible. We had the Maxi Cosi seat with the four-point harness in it, and now we've got the two Rodis in there no probs. I love the Rodis, BTW - they're fantastically easy to operate (unlike our crapulous "Which-recommended" Britax Evolva, which I chucked in a skip!!!)
