I fail to see how they could possibly be worth the £200+ price tag, TBH. I'm sure that the cut is great and all, but I'm almost certain you could find a very similar cut or one that suits your bodyshape just as much on the high street for less than half the price. £200 for jeans strikes me as madness and extreme greediness on the part of Seven For All Mankind.

oh bloody hell it is just a pair of jeans, they aren't flogging overpriced aids drugs to africa, it is less of "extreme greed" and more of "good business". of course they aren't WORTH it (in terms of raw material) but it is fashion, innit - if people want to pay that what is the problem?!!!

princesspeahead · 18/01/2005 19:05

sorry manc, your post just triggered a "lighten up" button in me

socci, if they make your bum look perky and your legs look long, they are worth £200!

NameChangingMancMidlander · 18/01/2005 19:06

Hilarious, I'm sure....

WigWamBam · 18/01/2005 19:06

I think I'll stick to Primark

Peckarollover · 18/01/2005 19:12

I would LOVE some and keep hovering to get some but always talk myself out of them. Our fellow spook has a few pairs I think and talks highly of them. She even walks the dog in hers, does that make her REALLY greedy?;)

motherinferior · 18/01/2005 19:16

Anything that made my legs look long would be worth £200.

But as I'm five foot tall I reckon not even an inordinately expensive pair of jeans would do it.

Lol, if people will pay £200 for jeans, then fine, it's their money. But I still stand by my original statement of £200 being a daft price for jeans......

Oh, I get it now. I thought you meant SIZE 7 and I opened this post through gritted teeth. Um, answer is that clothes are only worth what you are willing to pay for them. Would personally rather buy 5 pairs of cheaper ones

tamum · 18/01/2005 19:32

I do agree it's a lot, but I'm with MI on this one- compared with the price of plastic surgery for shorties like me it sounds quite reasonable

spook · 18/01/2005 19:37

The sparkly ones you are refering to are Limited Editions hence the £200 price tag. The sparkles are Swarzovski (sp!!!!) crystals. Normal ones are around £130 and YES!!!! They are So worth it.
