yes - we don't buy the bags anymore, just do exactly what you said - whole lot cheaper. beauty is that it folds down tho - potties don't

cheesesarnie · 27/05/2008 15:15

we still use this -my dd is 4.8 and has been dry for 2 years but is so handy when there isnt a bush............

BabiesEverywhere · 27/05/2008 20:32

Or if you use cloth nappies, you couldsew or buy a wet bag to use with the foldable potty.

cheesesarnie · 27/05/2008 21:32

i was using cloth yes and have used cloth camping before but for 4 days we wont have access to a washing machine.but i will defiantly dothat if using it other places!i dont like idea of using plastic bags and sanitry towels but think for those 4 days dont have much choice.

cheesesarnie · 28/05/2008 11:00

Oh they are so good. I whip mine out all the time.

For camping purposes I am seriously considering doing away with the bucket and lid and just going with the potette and a She wee

I've always fancied trying to pee stood up.

cheesesarnie · 28/05/2008 21:29

My DD 4.9 still uses hers. She said the other day that it was getting a bit small so we would need to buy her the next size up soon!!
