huggies are rubbish, very dry and they dont seem to have much in the pack

tesco own brand are very good i think, use them all the time

has anyone ever used boots own brand? they are on special in boots near me and i was going to try them

nailpolish · 18/01/2005 15:29

i mean boots own brand nappies

Loobie · 18/01/2005 18:34

Yeh i used boots own brand nappies for dd and they were fine.DD is the other way round, she cant have pampers nappies on as they give her a rash asda own brand are also really good and are only £3.60 odds a pack,we are using lidl ones at the moment at only £5.10 for a 44 pack so great value,i gave some to my friend who usually uses pampers and she felt the lidl ones were better than pampers.

ds too big for newborns, but have to say I think they're the best around. Beat all the premium brands for quality, fit and price.
Have to stock up though as we don't have a tesco near us.

Nailpolish - I use Boots own brand wipes. I have never had any probs with them, my ds is 13mths and I also used them for my six year old when she was a baby. They seem to have them on permanent offer of buy one get one free. I have also tried every nappy brand/shops own brand nappy and imo Tesco's are the best, especially for the stretch at the sides, although my bf swears by the ones she gets from Woolies that have Aloe Vera in them.

bunny2 · 18/01/2005 21:16

thanks misdee - I'll get some tomorrow, I've used them before and they are good

nailpolish · 18/01/2005 21:19

god its so good to hear own brand are just as good. i use pampers but it gets on my nerves the price. i am now going to use own brand nappies and wipes, whichever are on special offer
