I'm wanting some ideas on what to get for my husband. Its an unusual reason.

He has a business which is closing down in a few weeks and I would like to get something for him that represents his time running the place and all of the great times people have had there. I just dont know what to get him. Kind of a goodbye but well done type of thing. He's very hard to buy for at the best of times.

Please help me choose something.

Would depend on whether he’s been running and giving people a great time in a brother or a pub?

I don't think you should necessarily buy him something, I'd concentrate on the memories instead. Are there any pictures taken during the time his had been working there? From the business meetings or with other collegues, etc? You can make a company calendar with the company's logo and all the photos you have of him and this place. Or, if he's friends with his collegues and you can contact them, you can ask them to record short videos where they would be saying something nice about him and a great boss he was, then you make a long video from these clips (here is how you can join video files together). You can also make a video collage with photos and short videos, if there are any (maybe he sent you some pictures from his workplace or posted stories, etc).

He had been running an entertainment venue. I've had a good look into things last night and have decided to get a scrap book and get all of the performers to sign it, draw pictures, write anecdotes etc as I feel its a bit more personal and also something he can keep to look back on too.

@Grainsandgains Thank you. Its been driving me mad what to do but I opened a cupboard in our house last night and saw our wedding guest book and it hit me to do something similar for him.
