Micralite Toro Qs

Hi there.

Continuing the search for the one true pram .

Have some Qs about this one...

  1. Anyone know where I can see it in the flesh? Resricted to Manchester as I don't drive.
  1. Concerned from pics that the seat area under LOs bottom is small, or sloped toward their feet like the Loola. Anyone find this, or is it a nice (IMO) bucket seat that keeps them in place?
  1. Is it really only 8.5kgs? Can anyone compare the weights of the Toro and Fastfold? And does it really fold as samll as the pics and specs indicate (looks barely bigger than the Fastfold).
  1. Does anyone hang a changebag anywhere on it?
  1. Anyone tried the All Terrain Kit? Any good?

TIA, Liz x

Lesters in Cheetham Hill had the Toro to look at. I used a bagabottle bag off ebay on my fastfold but I think Snunkie or poshbugs tho could make you one to suit?
It fods bigger than the fast fold as the set doesn't fold so sits on top of the folded chassis if I remember rightly. I think there is a video on youtube.
I didn't try it out as we were trying to replace our gecko and the seat seemed the same size so we stuck with the gecko a bit longer!

i looked at one a while ago and got some advice here about it (didn't get one in the end). It folds MUCH bigger than the fastfold, the seat doesn't fold up at all, if you see what I mean. Did seem light, and pushed nicely (in the shop). Accosted a family who had just got one who thought it was fab, were waiting for their All Terrain Kit which they thought would make it into The Perfect Buggy (never seen them again so not sure if it has! but they were serial-buggy-buyers)

I saw one in Toys'r'us the other day (in croydon - there's prob one in manchester) - had a good play with it, and really liked it. feels light and looks like a good quality pushchair, easy to manoeuvre. we're planning to get the carrycot and maxicosi and will swap between the two until baby is old enough for pushchair. DH was concerned that the basket was a bit on the low side i.e. would it go down to the ground if had a lot of heavy shopping in and get dirty in rain etc - anybody know if this is a problem?
