DH and I are going to Vienna for 4 days in July to celebrate our wedding anniversary.
I have read that women in Vienna tend to dress "smart and polished" and it's going to be hot in the daytime, so I am thinking of maybe some wide linen trousers, shirts, mid-length skirt etc. Not sure about a layer for warmth in the evening.
We will be going to an open-air opera, string quartet in a church, waltzing lesson, smart cafes and sightseeing.
My usual shops (Hobbs, Phase Eight, Boden) are all full of floral, frilly summery beach or wedding things and I want a more cool and collected look. I like plain colours usually - navy, terracotta, khaki, coral, gold, teal (I don't mind a very small pattern but I am quite fine-featured and big bold patterns overpower me).
Please help me create my capsule wardrobe!
