Can anyone recommend a perfume for the summer that is reasonably priced but lovely. And also would be good for sensitive skin. I dont like heavy perfumes like orientals....prefer flowery, fresh or ' green ' type smells. Thanks !

I like to wear Issey Miyake l’eau d’Issey in the summer as it is so clean and fresh. It is not particularly cheap, but lasts well. There are dupes of it in Next and M&S.

Perfume is such a personal thing though and can smell so different on other people - why don’t you try out a few in stores to see what you like?

My best friend and I used to go to the Boots counter when we were teenagers and spray everything on us we could get our hands on. By the time we left the shop we'd nearly be passing out with the stink. Maybe that's shy I'm sensitive to a lot of them now.😁

Do dupes last as long as the real thing?

They don’t generally, but as they are cheaper I suppose you could get away with using more or spraying more often.

The best dupes are from Essence vault ❤️ good as original and last long as.

Only way to find your favorite perfume is to go to a shop and try it yourself. Someone's heavy is not same as yours.

Try Zara dupes. Ready cheap and last a long time. I have several. Not going back to premium brands ever again

Agree with Zara. I only ever get compliments when I wear my Zara ones - never my £100-200 ones!

I’ve switched more to perfume oils for summer, they sit lighter on the skin and don’t irritate as much. JYCTY has some nice fresh/green ones that last well without being heavy.

The Zara elegantly Tokyo is perfect! I’ve worn it all summer and have had so many compliments

Perfume parlour for dupes, they last much longer then the dupes in Next etc. Use Fragrantica for scent and note searches.
