small beds

ok, just want some opinions on this.

I have a spare room which currently has a 4'6 bed in it. I let the room to foreign students last year just for a few weeks and am hoping to do the same this year.

I want to change the bed for 2 singles. The room obviously doubles up as a guest room.

So, do I buy a 3ft single bed with a guest bed under or opt for 2 x 2'6 beds. When guests are staying I shall put the beds together.

The room isn't tiny but I think it may be a squeeze with 2 3ft singles and space in between though it can be done. There is a desk/chair, wardrobes etc in there too.

Any thoughts. I am thinking of going for the bed with guest bed under but welcome any thoughts - thanks

Get bunk beds
Sorry - I'd go for the 2 x 2'6 just incase the poor bugger on the pull out guest bed gets trodden on by sleepwalking other

With 2 3ft beds there would still be a little room to walk about etc, I just don't want anyone to feel cramped iyswim.

just been having a look at bunk beds and though they don't go with the nice image of a guest room, I could fit 3 students in lol if I had one with a pullout underneath or there's one with a double on the bottom and single on the top. double
