What brands are you buying from Vinted?

I’m 6 weeks post-partum and I’m having to create a wardrobe pretty much from scratch as I can’t fit in my pre-pregnancy stuff. I’m fed up of wearing my maternity clothes and want to get new bits so I can start to feel more confident again. I also want to focus on quality and move away from cheap tat that falls apart after a few washes so trying to make an effort to stay clear of certain brands & materials that won’t last.

I’m planning to get stuff from Vinted (or other second hand places, but not brand new), but find it so hard to navigate it on there due to the amount of crap for sale at the moment.

What brands do you normally make a beeline for on Vinted as you can trust the quality?

I think Vinted shopping for quality items is quite tricky as you're still going to be paying a fair bit even second hand so e.g. a Me&Em dress is going to be listed for £70/80+, which is obviously a huge discount from new but still a lot to pay when you can't return it!

I tend to go for things I already own/have tried on, or very cheap stuff from H&M, M&S etc.

Ralph Lauren which is incredibly well made and their cut seems to fit my body shape so incredibly well.
Hobbs for smartish work wear.
Warehouse, some lovely dresses at the right price and again, fit my body so well.
Reiss. Well made usually.

Before buying I always ask to see the inner label to check material. And check the brand size guide if I'm not familiar.

I filter to either Brand New With Tags or Brand New Without Tags.

I've had some right bargains. Ralph Shirt for £20 etc.
