Wide Fit Trainers

I am struggling to find some comfy and stylish trainers. I am size 5 or 5.5 and have wide feet. There aren't many trainers that are officially wide fit so does anyone know of any normal fit that just happen to be quite wide? (If that makes any sense!)

All recommendations welcome. Thank you in advance!

I have size 7 really wide feet and wear Nike Air 90s. They are really comfy and come in all sorts of colour ways.
I think OnClouds are also good, but haven’t tried them personally.
Hopefully others have more recommendations.

Am here for the info- I’m size 4.5 to 5 and have extra extra wide feet- basically my feet are squares. M and S New Balance dupes are lovely and wide but the material on the bottom makes them really slippery in rain, which isn’t ideal in this country! Looking to get advice from your thread OP!

I find New Balance are wide enough for my fat feet. 🙂🦶

Nike revolution ones worked for my wide foot son for a while, but he now needs proper wide width ones - we get Skechers arch fit wide, and fitville.
Also see if what you can get in men’s dept because they’re usually made wider.

Sounds weird but as you’re a 5 get the junior versions of any branded trainers. they go up to size 6.5

As they’re made for children they have a wider toe box- mine are comfy as hell and slightly cheaper than the adult version too. I’m a 4. i’ve got Nike court trainers.

I find the same in Asda too. The kids version fit perfectly but the adult version was like my toes were being put into a vice!

If they are not trainers for training but for casual wear with jeans sort of thing I wear the Birkenstock trainers for my fat fat fat extra wide feet and they are very comfy.

I have hobbit wide feet!

Mens shoes, even in the same size, tend to be wider!
I also have over pronation, where the ankle rolls in slightly when I walk. I wear Asics, gel kayano. They are more walking/fitness/running trainers, not a fashion type style, but I wear them nearly every day.
