Anyone got a BabyDan Lite Playpen ...?

Is it really 'portable'? What I want it for is to have in the living room and move to the garden when I go into the garden to hang washing/water plants etc. Our small garden is up a flight of steps and ds2 has just started crawling. By next summer it may be safe but now if I don't keep tabs on him second by second he's trying to nosedive off the edge. Wasn't living here when ds1 was this age. Ds2 getting very frustrated when I leave him inside in a play pen we've borrowed while I wave through the window as I hang washing.

When it says portable I am afraid it may just mean you can totally take it apart and then reassemble it all outside - not what I want as that would take ages. I want it to fold flat straight off.

I guess other option is a travel cot in garden but would have to buy one specially and they don't give baby so much space...
Any hands on experience welcome!
