tyre slime for buggies - what does it do?

and is it worth getting - if i have it do i still need to pump the tyres from time to time?

I put slime in my P&T and have never had a pucture.
Yes you still occassionally have to pump the tyres up.
I think it works like this - if you get a small puncture the slime runs into the hole and seals it so your tyre doesn't go down.
I could be totally wrong

You may be better off with punture protection tape which fits between the inner tube and tyre here.

The liquid stuff works v well on large bike tyre because they go at much higher speeds than buggies which distributes the liquid inside the inner tube, it tends to just slosh at the bottom of buggy tyres.

I have the Flat-Away tape on my Mountain Buggy and not had any punctures yet.
