So far cant find them in any shops ie boots, comet, currys. I know i can buy them online but does anyone know where i can get them on 'the high street?'

Isn't spacemonkey/donkey selling hers? Check the For Sale topic.

I bought mine online at www.hair-care.co.uk - arrived the next day

I don't think you can buy them from high street chemists etc, only from hairdressers etc - this is where I bought mine.
I previously bought ones bought from Boots which weren't brilliant and broke!
So, although GHD straighteners are more expensive than high street versions, they are definitely worth it - if only if they heat up within seconds - a big plus when you are rushing around like a mad woman trying to get ready before a baby's cry reach fever pitch!
