I have a request for some Brio as a birthday present. I would normally buy on line but I have to post the gift so don't want to pay twice for postage but where can I buy it from? (Can you tell I have girls and an Ikea train set ?)
TIA

elc used to. It's not cheap!

VanillaPumpkin · 20/05/2008 17:22

No it isn't, but it is for beloved nephew so I don't mind...I just won't be getting much .
I think ELC only do their own stuff now, which I believe to be Brio compatible but not Brio.
No ToysRUs in nearest town though.
Any others??

Could you shop on line and ask the parents to wrap it for you?

ChippyMinton · 20/05/2008 17:30

could you not order it online and have it delivered direct to your nephew?

VanillaPumpkin · 20/05/2008 17:53

Oh we live without a JL too .
I might have to go the posting to parents route then...
Will try Amazon, but I have a feeling they were linking to 'other sellers' iyswim.

Oh Amazon do have some actually. It was the safari set I wanted to get that was via another seller.
Thank you.

I heard that ELC sells wooden stuff which isn't Brio but is cheaper/compatible.

John Lewis are still doing free standard delivery on any order at the moment.

VanillaPumpkin · 21/05/2008 13:19

Oh, top tips thank you. Will look a JL website. Agree ebay is a good bet, but not for a gift.
