Proof of Posting Help

I placed two separate orders with the same online retailer. I returned two items from one order and one from the other but returned them in one parcel using just one of the return labels.

The retailer has received the returns but is saying that one of the three items isn’t in there. This is very hard to believe, it was very well packaged and I taped all the edges. Unfortunately I can’t find the receipt and expect I have thrown it away. I know the exact time and date it was posted, does anyone know if the Post Office will be able to
confirm how much the parcel
weighed when I dropped it off please (duplicate receipt?).

As things stands I am having to pay £85 for a dress that I haven’t got. I’m gutted. I’ve checked the online tracking but there’s no mention of the parcel weight. I dropped it off in a parcel shop with a Royal Mail facility rather than a Post Office if that makes any difference.

Sorry that’s so long! I can go in tomorrow but just wondered if anyone knew? Thanks.
