Ideas for a gift for my friend when she completes her PGCE, please

I'd really like to get her something nice as I think she's just fab! She's got 3 dc (2 under 5) and I don't know how she does it.

Don't really want to spend more than £30. My last resort is some vouchers for monsoon or something as she loves to shop.

A really nice (think suede covered type) academic diary with lots of spce for note-making.
Or a roomy and beautiful pencil case
or a large tote bag ( she will be carrying a lot of books!

Thanks slouchy, I like the sound of the academic diary though I'm thinking something more funky than suede covered... florals perhaps, or do they only come conservative?
