Anyone used it, what do you think about it? Is it any good?
My waist line is the part of the body that I have to reduce the most, because, even though I am only slightly overweight right now (working on that, have joined SW), I am in the "greatest risk" zone for things like diabetis and things like that, because of my waist measurement (have a rather tubby tummy)...!

you get abs just by lsign weight dont you
i mean otyu wont be fat wiht muscel definition

Well...abs are a muscle that needs to be trained,so, just loosing weight won't give you abs, and I suppose if you don't work your muscle and build it, then you may stand a good chance that you loose muscle rather then fat...!
Anyway, obviously diet is the main key, hence me doing Slimming World to try to shed weight, but I would also like to get fit and get a better tummy.
Last year I got down to 10st. and I did lots of exercise and was all in all fit and toned, but my waist measurements still put me into "greater risk" category, which is of course better then the greatest risk one, I am in right now, but it was really depressing to have done all that wporking out and being "good" and still be at a greater risk of diabetis and heartdesease.
And I did loads of Sit ups/Crunches etc...so, that obviously didn't work for me that great, iykwim...

Its rubbish, Dh bought one. It now sits in the loft.
What I read in DH's ftness magazines is that you need to reduce your body fat first in order to be able to see any tummy muscles. No matter how many sit ups you do if they are covered in a layer of fat it wont make a difference, however doing crunches etc will tone the muscles up and reduce the overall size of your waist.
It also said that instead of doing 100 crunches it is better to add resistance to them and just do 20. You can do that by holding weights to your chest while cruncing or doing crunches on a aerobics ball(aparently thats meant to be the best)

Unfortunetly you cant target weight loss so if you lose weight you will prob lose it from all over and then your tummy may still be bigger than your his etc because thats the shape of your body, however by reducing your overall body fat % you will be making yourself healthier and reducing our risk.
Of course someone may come and tell me i'm talking rubbish

thanks kbaby...I suppose I kinda knew that already, but well, it's so frustrating...I rememebr last year it was just heartbreaking, to have shed 2 stones+ and still be in the unhealthy region when going by bellymeasurement, sigh...blardy stupid body...
