Stompa are made by Gautier. Lovely quality and some nice ideas, but they are only in a timber effect finish.

PinkChick · 19/05/2008 10:36

they must have started doing the white now as i saw them in the brochure yesterday, but price is sooo high!

Tesco, Argos and Woolworths all do the Thuka ones. We have one for DS, it is fab.
The white ones are more a 'whitewash' though if that is ok.

PinkChick · 19/05/2008 20:24

are they as sturdy as the stompa ones then?, i guess it also depends on how wel you put them together?

our thuka one is hardcore . it's solid wood i think. ds has had it for 2 years & it's taken a whole lot of small boy action in that time. he has a cool design -- it's a high sleeper with a sofa & desk underneath. the sofa converts into a single bed for sleepovers. it's super popular!

PinkChick · 20/05/2008 10:04

yeah i like those but id have heart failure every night thinking dd would fall out(shes 5 and toss and turns!)..i have seen the ones you mention and they do look fab
