Hello all. I regularly shlep around all day in cities like London or Manchester and even in my comfiest (Veja) trainers, my feet still ache by midday.

What shoes will withstand the shlepping, but not make me look like a nerd?

I've looked at Sketchers and I'm just not quite sure about any of the styles. Air and Grace look nice but very expensive.

I wear Ecco leather trainers for days like this. I hope that they are plain enough that they are non a fashion disaster.

Over Easter weekend I went away and I wore adidas and I’ve regretted it all week.

Sketchers
Go to a sketchers shop, they have a huge range.
DS has sketchers school shoes (not trainers) and I have ballet slippers, sandals and trainers.
No idea what shoes would make you look like a nerd though

Arch supports in my footwear are a game changer. It sometimes means buying a half size bigger though.

I have Jimmy Choo Veles. Yes, hugely expensive but are by far, THE most comfortable shoes I’ve ever owned. Recently wore them on a city break, walked miles everyday and feet felt great even after 4 days.
