boys scooters for 3 year old...

i want to get my ds a scooter he is 3. but i dont know weather to get a 3 wheen one or 2 wheel.

im under the impression that a 3 wheel one wont last 5 mins and he will grow out of it quickly to move on to a 2 wheel one

help me decide which one i should get please

Depends if he is just 3 or nearer to 4. If 3 then a 3 wheeler is a good one to start on anyway. Have you any younger children who would get the benefit from it when they are older?

I am buying a 2 wheeled scooter for my son who will be 5 soon. He wanted one when he was 4 but didn't have the balance.

If it isn't a suprise go to toysrus and have your ds play on the 3 wheelers. They are just more stable.
