Dry hands - help!

The skin on my hands is so dry and brittle, it’s always cracking and sore. I wash hands a lot due to nappy changes & generally looking after small DC. Household cleaning products make it worse but they’re always bad regardless.

I’ve tried E45 and Working Hands and other generic hand creams, any recommendations? I’m in my 30s but have the hands of an 80 year old!

O’keeffe’s working hands is a life saver for me (health care and contamination OCD so lots of hand washing) my hands are always dry and regularly crack but if I sit in the evening slathering it on, and rubbing extra on the super cracked bits every 30 mins or so when watching tv, they heal in no time. I’m really surprised that hasn’t worked tbh.
I’d say wear gloves when handling cleaning products and apply hand cream after every nappy change. Maybe get some nitrile gloves to wear for nappy changes and food prep so you’re not having to wash hands as much. I wear gloves doing food then I’m washing my hands in the gloves rather than my actual hands all the time doing prep.
