make sure it fits your car though.

Jojay · 16/05/2008 14:33

I thought it might be that one - thanks.

I have a V reg Mondeo estate, if anyone knows if they are a good fit????

I will probably get the shop to fit whatever we decide on though.

it was def maxi cosi cabrio 2 years ago when ds1 was born

go to which online, you can get a free 30 day trial and then look up infant car seats for an up to date report!

I joined Which? online when I was researching DS's forward facing seat, but now I'm expecting again, and want a new infant carrier as I don't like the one I have at the moment.

Not sure if Which? will give me another free trial though!!!!

I agree, it was a Which! best buy 2 years ago. You could get it as Isofix or seatbelt. It also fits in most cars, we have a Ford and it fitted brilliantly.

Get Halfords to fit it first, Babies R Us were useless at fitting both the ones we have bought, we wasted 2 trips to the store. Ended up buying the next stage one at Halfords and they matched the price from BRU when we asked.

I will ask DP to check Which! later and let you know.

Thank you so much!

It still says Maxi Cosi Cabrio fix or Recaro young profi plus. Tested with the Iso fix base so without it they did not classify it. It is the same report as when we were looking and we went for the MC as it also fitted the travel system we bought. The seat is the same either way.

Thank you so much for looking.

I'll look up the Recaro one as I don't know it, but we'll probably end up with a Maxi Cosi.

Thanks again

In fact, does anyone have any opinions on etierh seat? I've seen lots of the Maxi cosi one around but not the Recaro one.

I will look in the reviews section too...........
