Pretty lost on finding a wedding gift, for a close family member.

The couple live in California and I am thinking it will be nice to get something uniquely British.

Your suggestions please.

Budget: max: £400

A British cookery book?

a kettle? - They don’t use kettles in the US, do they?

mathanxiety · 01/04/2025 00:40

They do indeed use kettles here...

Don't get bedding - beds are sized differently in the US.

If the couple resides in California, do you intend to ship the gift, OP? If so, think of something hard to break in transit, and reasonably light.

A Welsh blanket would be lovely

Thank you, everyone for your suggestions. I will look into them.

@mathanxiety ( interesting username! :-) )

We will be attending the wedding in California and so hoping to take it with me.
