Flat feet shoe/sandal recommendations

Hey folks,
I recently started having pain in my ankle and the doctor said its due to flat feet and not wearing arch support kind of shoes. Can i please get suggestions ?

Go to a podiatrist, get yourself some custom made orthotics and don't walk any distance in shoes such as sandals that you can't wear them in.

There are a few brands out there, but can be expensive... fitflop, vionics, sketchers. I have flat feet, and have some orthotics for closed shoes, but for the summer, I bought some arch support flip flops from amazon, about £20, and also some comfort range sandals from new look. I have the added disadvantage of being a size 9 shoe.
Never walking bare foot helps me a lot too, so I have some arch support sliders which I wear around the house - also from amazon.
