I had a cold caller a few months ago from My child magazine who smoothed talked me into accepting some CD roms and 2 year magazine subscription for £88, however, if you didn't want them they could be returned at no fee - BUT you have to tell them first and guess what? Nobody answers the phone.
I suspected if I just sent the cd's back I would probably be charged the £80 anyway so because the cd roms were ok and so was the magazine I decided to keep the subscription.
HOWEVER, they decided to take another £80 unauthorized from my account!
Hopefully the bank will sort it out for me, but I've read LOADS of bad press about this company and they've been investigated by Watchdog.
So beware I've learnt my lesson the hard way just say "no thankyou"!
