Do swings have any use beyond 4 months?

My Dd didnt like her swing as a newborn and it has never induced her into a sleep - is there any point keeping it now she is 20 weeks? I would like to clear the space in the living room but seems a shame we have never used it.

She will now sit in it.

So..........worth keeping or get rid?

My DD is now 6 months and loved her swing since she was born. In the old days she used to chill out or sleep in it. Now she only goes in it when she is clearly tired to nap. If your lo doesnt nap in the swing, I dont think it's worth hanging onto it past 20 weeks - I'm hanging onto mine as a sleep saver and also it calms her down still, but it sounds like it doesnt do that for your lo...?

perhaps you could feed her in it if you wean her befre she can sit unaided?

Sell it while it's still pristine! They are expensive and don't last long, so people are desperate for second hand ones. Think I had ten phone calls the day I put mine in the FridayAd and I got a good price for it.
