Finding a dress for a wedding that isn’t frumpy or way too long

I’m searching for an outfit to wear to a wedding in three weeks time that is smart and elegant but not frumpy or pooling on the floor.

I’m 47, size 12, 5ft 3 and have a big tummy that I’m very conscious of.

I tend to favour wrap or shirt dresses and find a v neck the most flattering on me.

I like green and it’s a colour that mostly suits me but I’m not ruling out other colours - apart from Navy. My DM is wearing Navy (it’s my DB’s wedding) and I know I look like my DM, I’m fed up of being told that, and I’m very keen to not draw even more attention to it!

I have already ordered a couple of dresses from Phase Eight and like this one: https://www.phase-eight.com/product/rosa-floral-pleat-maxi-dress-222095000.html
but is it soooo long that it’s on the floor even with my highest heels on. The petite version is no longer available is a 12 unfortunately.

Budget is up to £300. Ideally looking for something with sleeves as it’s an April wedding. Added bonus if it has pockets!

Has anyone seen anything nice out there at the moment, or have any idea of what brands I could look at?

Thank you! I love the style of that one and the colour is lovely, even if it isn’t green!

Couldn’t you buy the one you love and have it taken up?
