Hi, can't really think where to post this so apologies if its in the wrong place.

Am 30wk pregnant with twins, got our Graco rear facing car seat out of the loft the other day to discover mice have nibbled one of the straps, just above the buckle. Emailed Graco and they can send out replacement straps for £20, but DH has suggested buying a cheap one off ebay - have found one in the next town for a fiver, and remove the straps from that. Any thoughts?? safe?? obviously it is still our car seat at the end of the day, not like we're buying a 2nd hand one?? Really trying to budget here as obviously we need 2 of everything.

Anyone ever tried to replace car seat straps?? is it difficult??

TIAx

As long as you can get the straps off in one piece, I can't see there being a problem safety wise with using the straps from a different seat.
