Storing used white trainers for next kid ?

Hey,

we have these Nike trainers that our son has used just a few times, we want to store them for our daughter to use maybe late next yr, usually when I do this the sole turns yellow, any tips to avoid this ?

I’d clean the soles with cream cleanser, wash them in the machine and dry them really well, like laces out, insoles out and flat, tongue open and face down on a radiator. Then stuff them with paper to keep their shape and put away in a box or wrapped in a towel.
