want to replace my buggy, but I don't know what to get.
I was umming and ahhing over a micralite, but am not sure about it not being able to lie flat. am sure ds2 would manage to sleep in it if he had to, but I prefer him to go a bit flatter.

I want something really lightweight, but a bit different to the regular strollers out there. not a zapp or anything with teeny wheels though, it needs to have a bit of suspension or whatever.

so come on you pramaholics, tell me what's out there lol

i have the micralite toro and it does lie flat unlike the fastfold - we are happy with it.

does it fold with the seat on?
we already have a bigger pushchair, so looking for a stroller type thing

Am not pramaholic - have the trad tried and tested Maclaren XT which we find great, but I did read there's now a Bugaboo Bee - think offers similar 'recline suitable for newborns' to Maclaren XT, and has suspension... Don't know whether wheels are small though.

bettybeetroot · 12/05/2008 13:41

yes the micralite does fold with the seat. we use the micralite for walks and around the town we live in and have an xt in the car for shopping etc. I like thewm both - on one hand ds looks more comfy in the micralite and he has more allround vision and on the otherhand the xt is better for busy shops etc as the front wheels of the micralite spread outwards iyswim (thou8gh not by loads) I've looked at the bee in john lewis and it looks very nice but the wheels are small. i promised dh not to change our buggys again as already had a bugaboo and a silvercross pop (that broke!) and ds is only 15 mnths

bettybeetroot · 12/05/2008 13:45

if i had to choose between the 2 i'd choose the xt btw

SilverCross Dazzle is a lightweight stroller and a bit different from others. Used to be just black but in the next couple of weeks they have new colours available. They look funky and highly recommended amongst 'pramaholic' friends!!

Check out toys r us for details and new colours. The Blueberry looks fabby for a boy.

yes, I did have a look at the dazzle. I just don't know.
I kind of wanted to get away from the regular old umbrella fold stroller type thing, but it's looking like it might be what I end up with anyway lol.
am replacing a jane energy, so wanted something a bit different.

I am still a little bit taken with the micralite, and they seem to be going fairly cheap on ebay atm which helps as well lol.

in Penzance a lot of people have icandy pushchairs. it was very bizarre.
then I discovered that the only baby shop was a little independent one that happened to stock them, which explained it.
