Hi - I really need good sun blinds to go in the back of the car this summer.

I've tried those black oval ones with the smiley face on, and I've tried the Mothercare pull down retractable kind. Didn't find either of them very good, as they weren't dark enough so kids still ended up squinting on long journeys!

Can anyone recommend some good ones please? Thanks very much.

try window sox - my friend said hers were the best she'd tried so have bought some for this summer. They go over the door frame so you can also wind the windows down.

Get your car windows tinted. Maybe expensive but you never need to bother about pop up sun blinds.

i have got blinds that are identical to window sox but cost a lot more . They have been great

Thanks for the tips. I love the idea of window tinting, but can't seem to find anyone in Wakefield area who does it! Will have a look at the window sox things.
Thanks for you help.

glad you like. my dh has those on his car all year around. it acts like tinted window so people cant see in. it doesnt cover the whole window but it certainly does cut out most of it.
