Can anyone recommend a recordable DVD player? I don't know where to start!

Our DVD has just given up the ghost. I guess the top feature would be ease of use, I don't need anything fancy. Thanks.

I always get my DVD players from Asda. they are about £25 . Then when the kids post peanut butter toast into the slot it doesn't matter.

sorry dances, just read that you want a recordable one, ours is just a player. But In think Asda still do them , and they usually have a 3 year guarantee I think.

Thanks maidamess. i have some vague recollection of a techy type friend saying there are different region type things but I can't remember what make he said was best... I also can't remember which friend said it so I can't ask them again!

we've just bought a Sony HDD/DVD. Fabby. You record onto a hard drive then burn DVDs

Ah, sony rings a bell, maybe that was the make I was supposed to go for! Thanks
