Drag my work wardrobe into 2025…

I’m the only woman still wearing heels (literally, of 30 other women, no one else). My ‘uniform’ consists of wide leg trousers and a blouse. I want to move to flat ish boots / shoes and a bit more diversity. I’m early 40s, very petite (5.3 and tiny bones), but curves in the right places (so a size 10 bottom and size 6/8 top). I want to look smart, but more relaxed corporate (I have no idea if that makes sense). Brands I love / wear (when I buy clothes) M&S, Wyse, Sezane, Zara, Nobody’s child, Next. Budget-wise, I’m happy to spend £150 on a dress or outfit. Worth noting I sometimes have to do the school run before work. Thank you - pics welcome.

This sort of thing?

Cos dress and boots

Definitely start with footwear. Cos as above or

Grenson

(I’m rather envious of your ‘tiny bones’. I’m also 5’3 but possess acres of shoulder and comparatively long limbs, so have never felt petite and look ridiculous in dainty clothes.)

@MsWintertowne thank you! That COS dress is lovely - I like things that flare. It might be a bit too covered up, and I’m slightly terrified of the knee boots, but beautiful. I do own a fabulous pair of knee highs from Mon velvet but I don’t wear with minis (more midi skirts over the top). Grenson is a rabbit hole I’m happy to go down! Thank you so much!
