Black fittings? Are they over, will they date quick? Also, what colour wall panels? Preferably not grey. We saw a bathroom, sadly in Homebase, black fittings with a forest green feature wall. So dramatic is ok.Which I thought dh would hate, but really liked. It’s a small room, getting rid of bath for walk in shower.

Black fitting will date quickly.
What’s your water like, mine is hard so black wouldn’t work at all.

I agree they look nice now but they will discolour in the future. I made the mistake of having gold taps they soon became shabby so I replaced them with silver which last forever imho

Soft water area, so no limescale. We made the mistake of brushed nickel in the kitchen, can’t get appliances to match, so would avoid gold. I do want modern, sleek and maybe industrial. If that makes sense.
