I can't face attempting to take DS to a shoe shop again

You can get loads on ebay, I've just ordered from Bell's shoes which were linked on ebay. Sizing is quite odd, I must admit as they're meant to be big i.e. feet don't really touch the sides. I got 10/11 for ds1 who is 4.5 and normally wearing a size 9. A store that does straightforward returns will be fine because crocs weigh so little you don't get charged postage. BTW, if you're at a garden centre, most of them round here at least seem to do crocs so even if you don't find the right colour etc you can get an idea. Not as bad as shoe shops!

thanks, DS is in a 9.5 so I guess I'll need a 10/11

if you look in the promotional codes section I posted a discount code for sweetfeet the other day

Buy 4 pairs and get the 5th pair free. If you want to buy for anyone else too!

My dd last year had the 7/8 or 8/9 I think it was and she was a 7.5 at the time.

We are struggling with Croc sizing at the moment. DD is a size 12 in most normal shoes. Last year's Crocs, size 10/11, are pretty much too small. The next size up we have is 12/13, which my parents brought back from the US last year for us, are still massive and no where near able to be worn. So at the moment we don't have any that will fit!

American sizing is one size up from ours. I've been buying Baby Gap shoes for ages and they're all in American sizing.

dd keeps asking for pink ones. thankfully (I tell her that) they never fit her.

it is true actually, either too small or like boats.

Gobbledigook · 06/05/2008 22:50

sweetfeetshoes.com are fabbo.

Sizing depends on where the crocs were made - those made in China come up smaller than those made in Mexico. You'll just have to order and see.

The sweetfeetshoes kids ones are from China and so the sizing should be the same as your UK size.

at my crazy shoes This is the best site for crocs and other fab shoes and my school friend owns it!! My father has visited the 'crocs' factory in China and says the sizing is never accurate as the process is not precise.

LyraSilvertongue · 09/05/2008 16:58

Posie, that link didn't work.

it does depend on where they are made - sizes slightly out

10/11 (made in Canada) fit dd1 who wears UK size 11 - she wore them last year as well, plenty of room

6/7 (also Cdn made) still fit dd2 who is UK size 7

next sizes up are huge for both of them
