Spring Baby Pramsuits

baby number 1 due in mid April and I am really confused as to what he might wear when in the pram? Pramsuits I’ve seen seem to be very winter, heavy duty but I feel he will be cold with just normal clothes and a blanket 😐

any help and advice appreciated! Xx

DD2 was born at the start of last April and we used a tuppence and crumble star wrap. Vest, sleepsuit, cardigan, star wrap then blanket, pram apron and a hat when outside - she seemed toasty enough! We are in London though and the weather wasn't too cold (if it remember in the fog of the newborn days!)

You can get lighter all in ones (white company did thin fleece one which was good for milder days or layering) but also remember that babies need warmer layers than grown ups as they’re so little. Thin layers are good. Cosy jumper and blanket on a sheepskin cocooned in buggy is snug but not too hot. You’ll get the hang of it quickly!

My daughter was born mid-April last year and because the weather is still so unpredictable in April/May we ended up using a few different ones! We had a few days where the proper winter ones were needed, morning walks with frost on the ground, and there were also days where the lighter fleece ones were needed as it was 15/16 degrees. It’s definitely a strange time to have a newborn temperature wise

I wouldn't bother and would get some knitted cardis and cellular blankets, then you can layer up if needed

Baby Mori ones do fine lovely lighter ones that would be perfect for spring.
