I am interested in buying one of these
cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=380023751401&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=025

what do you think of these?
Are they any good?
Does your dc wear a bike helmet?
Any comments will be great.

P.s. i will not be using this on the road just on a very quite route.

I had one it was great. But I found ds got heavy quite quickly or maybe that was coz I'm so unfit! We only used ours on holiday really. It was brill for taking the washing up to the sinks on campsites!!

Hi i have exatcly the same one and my 2 oldest dd's fit in it together. It is really sturdy and well made but feels light when on my bike. My dc's do wear helmets in it and really love it when i take them out in it.

Ecmo-excellent use of the trailer,i may take it and do my weekly shop!

Olivaselanasmum- Have you ever used it as a stroller? How old are your dc's?

My dd's are 6,3 and 7 months and if i wasnt already pregnant i would be using it more in this lovely weather.
I havent used it as a stroller.

nobodysfool · 05/05/2008 21:03

They look like such good fun.I'm sure ds will love it.
Can you remember where you bought it from?

My parents bought it for me from ebay as a christmas present, i think they paid about £40 for it.

nobodysfool · 05/05/2008 21:09

Sorry if that sounded really nosey.
They have certainly gone up in price.
We are getting it for my ds 3rd birthday-thought he would get more enjoyment out of it rather than a pile of toys.

Thats ok i dont think you were being nosy!
My parents bought mine in winter when no one wanted one hence the cheap price!

Fennel · 05/05/2008 21:17

My dsis has one and it gets a lot of use - they have 2 children aged 5 and 2. My 4yo goes in it sometimes. But they usually prefer a child seat when they are just taking one child, it's easier to cycle with a bike seat than a trailer. (We have found that too, we have 3 dc and always used bike seats and a trailgater rather than a trailer).

Yes they wear helmets in it.

nobodysfool · 05/05/2008 21:31

Oliviaselanasmum-wish i thought of getting one during the winter!

Fennell- My legs are a bit short to have a bike seat.I think i would struggle with the weight of ds.

I'm really excited about getting one-sad or what!
