Silver Cross Dazzle parasol

Does anyone know if all silver cross parasols fit the dazzle?

I don't think they do but don't quote me on that...

I also have the dazzle so need a parasol for hols in a few weeks time. My local pram shop are onto sc as their accessory pack is advertised on their site BUT not for sale anywhere atm.
The pack inc a bag,umbrella and footmuff. Not after the other stuff just the parasol BUT they are also checking if other parasols fit and if not if they will sell them seperate..Hmm....hope its not a marketing/sale ploy fom sc...

Let me know how you get on.

BTW, my reasons are because of the frame shape. Its a square/flat frame not roubded iykwim like others...xx

Thanks ever so much for that - i'm so glad i didn't order one of their normal ones. I'm looking for a parasol for my holiday too - def don't want the rest of the stuff either :-) I've emailed silver cross and will post back if they contact me.

I called my local pram store back today and they checked with sc (stupid that we can't call them ourselves ..) and they said it won't be launched till june so they guess stock by mid june..Hmm we go away 2nd june...TBH, I never thought about this when I ordered the pram as it seems stupid that they launch the pram and accessories 6+ months later...

BUT my pra store did say that the parasols they stock, apparently the NINA one is most compatable...Not sure if there are others..cost about £15.

Let me know if you find out more...thing is I want the cheapest BUT I would also like one that matches as I think the umbrella will slot into one of the little brackets on the pram iykwim..(like the hood and footmuff do..) xx

I've had a reply from silver cross:

"Thank you for your email, I can advise that we will have a parasol available in stock in approximately 3 weeks, this is a new product that has not yet been dispatched from stores . The total cost will be £25.00 inc P & P, if you wish to proceed with this sale then please contact a member of our sales team on 01756702412 with your credit or debit card details."

ohhh thanks so much for that. Im off to give them a call now as only want the parasol and not the whole pack...

Hmm, maybe not in time for hols BUT would like one that eventually matches so ma just buy a cheepie iykwim...IME its best in long term to get one that is for that pram etc as I always find that universal ones never fit perfect.

Due wc 26/05 so hopefully it will come then so in time for hols...It may be worth you placing an order and asking them to call you when in stock to check you still want iykwim..Thats what the guy I spoke to suggested. BUT I want it regardless..Just hope it comes on time... Thanks again x

I've been ooming and aaaahing and have decided to get it (I think )I'm going to phone them tomorrow - been a busy bee today. Ours is black too so will probably get a black one too - I'm not sure any of the new colours would really go. I was thinking about a red one before I found out that they did Dazzle ones.

BTW they only do black or silver so guess that makes your mind up for it..!!! .

I've ordered it in black - she said week starting the 19th so maybe they'll arrive earlier Oooooh silver might've been nice. I need to get out more - I can't even make a simple decision anymore!!!!!

oh even earlier would be better..Don't worry I had the same decision to make..I also came off thinking..Hmmmm silver would have been nice..

Silver cross phoned me today and I got really excited as they said they had my parasol and were going to post it out..... then the lady said 'jet parasol' and the long and the short of it is that the original lady I'd talked to at Silver Cross had ordered me a jet normal parasol by mistake! Apparently they're now expected in at the start of June which will probably be to late for our holiday as we leave on the 7th.

Have a lovely holiday. We're going to Majorca but apparently it's not that hot over there at the moment grrrrh.

Yeah, the said to me yesterday that they won't take payment till dispatched and will call to say when.

I agree, I also wanted a matching one..... I think ds's unbrella off his quinny bizz will fit with the original attachment. So will make do with that. Save pennies I suppose..Let me know how you get on with the one above.

Hopefully the weather will change before you go..Marbella (we are off to) apparently is quite warm atm. Bliss..
