London shopping / what’s worth getting

Hello!
going to LDN for proper first time at end of month. I’d be really grateful for any recs for shopping/ any great shops that I simply wouldn’t get in small hometown city 😂 appreciate its vague but for example, I’d be keen to visit the Sézane store to try on some pieces. Is there anywhere in Covent Garden? Any quirky jewelry shops that sell rings that don’t cost the earth?
any items from liberty for example that are a must?
thank you!!

It really depends on your kind of vibe! If you like Sezane I'd recommend heading for Marylebone High St for the store there - plenty of similar kind of 'almost' unique shops and brands. Highly recommend Daunt Books across the road if you're a book lover (or even if you're not!) as it has stunning interiors.

Liberty and Covent Garden are always worth a mooch yes - I love Oxford Street for Selfridges and the John Lewis there is huge and always has more interesting stuff than my local one - though they're very typical touristy 😂

It really depends on how many days you have dedicated for shopping only (and how much you're willing to spend)!? It sounds from your post you're into seeing the unique quirky shops and also the famous department stores. Covent Garden, Portobello Market/Notting Hill and Camden Town are great experiences where you can find some really one off products, plus it can be a great day out seeing some of the really unique / diverse areas of London. Liberty and Selfridges are good with a huge variety of brands and trends going into high luxury if that's what you're after too. Westfield shopping centre in White City has nearly everything - though lots of regular high street brands too but sometimes have lots more products that your local shopping centre one wouldn't. Plus they have different pop up stands with unique brands that come and go for short periods. As I said it really depends on how much time you have as visiting just one of these places can be really tiring and take up most of the day.
