ds' ds has been damaged (only cosmetically fortunately) by dd getting annoyed at Mario and bashing it with the stylus and on door frame apparently . It is mainly pock marked on the edge and top of the "lid" section. I gather you can replace this but am confused by the variety of shells/covers available, seeming to range from £4.50 to about £25, silicone and plastic, ideally looking for silver. Has anyone also had to do this and could advise. Are they easy to replace yourself ? Would a cover on top of the existing ds console disguise the damage and protect it.
