Quinny Zapp vs Petite Star Zia?

I know the Zia reclines and has a storage basket but that apart are there any big differences between the two?

Saw a Zapp in Mothercare today and as someone with a miniscule boot it was very attractive in a 'car stroller' sort of way.

Is the Zia of comparable quality?

I have the moon kiss Like the Zia it reclines but has a bumper bar.

Have had both. Bought a Zia for the recline feature but found it absolutely impossible to push one-handed (have to hold DD's hand) - even on smooth floors. The seat was also a bit too slouchy. Friend had a Zia but had to sell it because she was getting really bad RSI in arms/shoulders - RSI disappeared as soon as she stopped using it. It also veers quite badly. So sold mine too.

Now have a Zapp and find it v easy to push, even one-handed. IMHO the quality is better & the seat is better. Of course it doesn't recline but I don't need it too (just use it for short trips, have Mt Buggy for day to day school run etc) I got a underseat bag from ebay for it.

I have a zia and love it. Ive not used a zapp though so cant compare it.
The zia does lean back even in the upright mode but I just tighten the back strap as much as I can and DS doesnt seem to complain about it leaning back nor dos he try to sit further up so he must like it.

I dont find the steering to be a problem, yes you cant steer it one handed but then my mclaren I couldnt do one handed either.

Its lovely and comfy, the susension is better than a zapp because its bouncy and soft and its folds up easily.

I have a Britax Verve that I got of Ebay - it is similar to the other two and is lightweight, but is easy to tip when trying to get up kerbs - I keep forgetting! I only use it for popping out of car to school and when take DD swimming so DS cant run around. It is easy to push though!

Have recenty bought the Zia and its fab...fully reclines, very comfy, folds up very small, great foormuff and dd2 seems to love it.

My friend is getting rid of her Zapp as her lo falls out the straps....

i have a zia and love it - its very bouncy - i find the handles lower down than my mcclaren but i only use it as my inthe car stroller as it folds up so small so dont know if this would cause me achey shoulders on longer strolls... It is great that it goes flatish for a snooze and it ocmes with a muff and raincover and free delivery - what more could a girl want!

Ceolas · 05/05/2008 17:46

Where does it come with muff and free delivery nappyzone?

Anyone with a Zia - can you tell me how tall the back\of the seat is - if you see what I mean - if your LO sat in it, what is the height between the seat and the hood. I can see that the buggy I have now will not last much longer!
