They say hand wash at 30, but I wasn't sure whether to use clothes washing stuff or just fairy liquid. Any ideas?

I have used both. Depends how dirty they are.

They're not dirty, just sweaty and smelly (yeuch).

When you wash them put some fabric condition in a bowl of water and soak them

Thank you - I'll give that a go.

They are buggers to wash - and even worse to rinse, so I would use something for sensitive skin just in case there is some residue (although fabric rinse would help).

DS2 has some now which include a pair of sort of footless knee socks which go under the pads - they are nylon but do seem to help keep the pads a bit less sweaty.

Good thought Wendy - I might use some of the tea tree handwash I've got upstairs. Will probably help neutralise the smell a bit too. Thanks.
