Vinted question

Possible stupid question alert 🤣

I am trying to sell something through Facebook marketplace. Someone has messaged me and asked if I can post it via vinted instead.

If I was to list this item on vinted how would I make sure this person buys it rather than someone else?

Just list it without any useful photos and title it "private listing for [her name]"

You can say in the details what it is, so she's still got some buyer protection.

Then send her a link so she can find it and buy.

Why can't they buy it from you on messenger? It's not up to them where you lost your items.

She's probably got some Vinted balance to spend. It's a reasonable question to ask, OP can say no if she isn't up for it!

And if the buyer isn't local and is relying on it being posted, it's fair enough for her to prefer buying via a platform that offers some degree of buyer protection.

Thank you very much!
